Slice meets spice for one week only at Cinnamon Kitchen from 3-7 August, as Vivek Singh and Pizza Pilgrims team up to create a delicious range of Indian pizzas!

Who…/ Cinnamon Kitchen, one of London's most innovative Indian restaurants and pioneers of London's proper pizza scene, Pizza Pilgrims The Menu…/ Twisting the classic Italian treat with a tantalising taste of the tandoor, the menu features 4 pizzas all costing £8:
  • Tandoori Chicken, green chilli and cheese
  • Lamb Rogan Josh calzone with ricotta
  • Minced Venison with red onion
  • and the brilliantly named Bollyflower Cheese, with Spiced Cauliflower
Drinks…/ A couple of classic Italian tipples have also undergone a spice transformation, including the Ginger Negroni (£8) with homemade galangal ginger juice, Martini Rosso, Campari and plum wine; and the Pococello Spicy Spritz (£9) using Pizza Pilgrims' own brand of Limoncello, lychee juice and cracked black pepper, topped with Prosecco. We went and here's why you should go…/ Pizza purists amongst you may scoff at this collaboration, but the combination is absolutely stunning.  The meat and veg are delicately spiced to still allow the delicious sourdough base, rich tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella to shine.  We'd love to see this turned into a permanent menu fixture please!
