The immense Hakkasan empire brings incredible dim sum to the city with the launch of Yauatcha City!

Who…/ The internationally acclaimed Hakkasan Group, who own the eponymously named chain of Chinese restaurants as well as the original Michelin Starred Yauatcha in Soho. Yauatcha City's kitchen is led by Chef Tong Chee Hwee, who holds a total of 12 years' experience with the group, initially as Head Chef of the original Hakkasan Hanway Place and then bringing his skill and creativity to the group globally as Executive Head Chef. The menu provides traditional Cantonese dishes with a modern influence, offering a wide range of steamed, baked, grilled and fried dim sum such as Scallop shui mai, Prawn and beancurd cheung fun and Venison puffs. The venue also houses a Patisserie, where Chinese heritage and modern European cooking techniques have inspired the pastry team, led by Executive Pastry Chef Graham Hornigold, to create an array of macarons, petits gateaux and chocolates. Oh, and unusually for an Asian restaurant, desserts are incredible too, with an array of seriously indulgent patisserie to choose from. The only minor let down are the cocktails, which lacked any real excitement or sparkle in their flavour.  On the flipside, get yourself stuck into the extensive Sake list and all will be forgiven!
