How to celebrate Valentine's Day in London! (February 14th)

There's just a week to go until February 14th, the Most Romantic Day Of The Year™, and as it falls on a  Saturday in 2015 the pressure is really on. Fortunately, we've compiled a list of options including restaurant options, cocktail bars, hotel stays, and edible gifts for you love-struck couples out there, so you can easily show your love through organised romance. Be warned though, the 50 Shades of Grey theme is dominating this year... As for all you singles out there (shout out!), rather than cry into a bottle of Merlot while watching The Notebook, why not check out one of the many dating or Anti-Valentine's Day events going on next weekend? Valentine's Day Menu at 108 Brasserie 

Kick off the romance with a meal at 108 Brasserie in Marylebone, starting a glass of Prosecco and a West Mersea native oyster, followed by a 4 course set menu from Head Chef Russell Ford. Dinner options include poached lobster, saddle of rabbit, pan-fried John Dory and Isle of Skye scallops. Menu available for lunch and dinner on Saturday 14th February.

Valentine's Day Afternoon Tea at Skylounge

From February 1st, Skylounge rooftop bar are offering a special Valentines afternoon tea with a view, appropriately named 'All Loved Up'. The menu promises a 50 Shades of Grey themed cocktail, sensual cake bites and aphrodisiac sandwiches - perhaps not appropriate for your grandmother, then.

Seafood Specials at Bonnie Gull

Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack will be offering their seafood favourites this Valentine's Day, including highlights of Maldon Rock oysters, seared Scottish scallops, and Wild Cornish seabass. The offering is subject to change, depending on the day's catch, weather conditions at sea and seasonality of produce. In Exmouth Market, the new Bonnie Gull Seafood Bar will be serving a special Valentine's cocktail, the Kitty Hawk with Portabello Gin, Maraschino liquor, lavender infused syrup, lemon and a dash of sherry.

Food Pairing at Basement Sate

Soho's finest cocktail and dessert bar are getting in on the V-Day action with a couples tasting menu using aphrodisiac ingredients such as raspberries, vanilla, chocolate and honey. The menu includes three desserts and three paired cocktails per person.

Eat your Heart Out at Cinnamon Soho

For the daring diner, Cinnamon Soho are taking the love aspect of Valentines Day very literally this year by serving up a heart-themed menu of spiced, skewered and seared dishes including pan seared ox heart, tandoori spiced chicken heart, devilled duck hearts and lamb's heart skewers.
