Star Martini

Ingredients
  • 3 parts Star of Bombay
  • 1 part Noilly Prat dry vermouth
  • Orange zest
Method Fill mixing glass with ice and stir to activate the ice and chill the glass. Strain away any excess liquid. Add all ingredients and stir rapidly. Zest small thumbnail of orange peel into frozen coupe glass. Fine strain the liquid into a frozen glass in a circular motion from the outside of the glass towards its centre. Then add chilled orange zest.

Intense Star of Bombay & Indian Tonic Water

Ingredients
  • 1 part Star of Bombay
  • 1 part Fever Tree Indian tonic water
  • 1 orange zest
Method Place ice cubes into an empty glass and stir rapidly until the glass is chilled to an appropriate temperature then strain excess liquid. Add the Star of Bombay and stir several times to chill liquid slightly. Add tonic water over a bar spoon to stop it from going flat. Finally add the orange zest. Express the juices at a 45-degree angle toward the glass to make the most of its aroma.

Star on the Rocks
