Burns Night Cocktail Recipes from TINCUP Whiskey

Because nothing helps beat the January blues more warming whiskey cocktail at home.
Although London is hosting everything from traditional haggis suppers to full-blown caelidhs for Burns Night this weekend, dragging yourself out into the cold again after a long day can be a bit too much to ask. Fortunately, TINCUP whiskey have provided us with three brilliant whiskey cocktail recipes so you can celebrate Robert 'Rabbie' Burns without leaving the house - and haggis is optional (phew).TINCUP Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
- 50ml TINCUP whiskey
- 5-10ml sugar syrup
- 2 dashes of Angostura bitters,
- Orange twist
TINCUP Sazerac
Ingredients:
- 50ml TINCUP whiskey
- 10ml Absinthe,
- 5-10ml Sugar Syrup
- 2 dashes Peychaud bitters
- lemon twist
Method:
Pour absinthe into ice-filled glass, top with water and leave to stand. Separately stir other ingredients in mixing glass with ice. Discard contents of glass (absinthe, water and ice) and strain stirred drink into absinthe-coated glass. Finish with lemon twist.
