The Pickle Jar downstairs at The Well, Clerkenwell - New opening

Who doesn't like to get a little bit pickled as the cold winter months roll in? The Pickle Jar at The Well in Clerkenwell, might just be the perfect cosy spot to hide from the cold and experiment with a little vinegar-inspired fun.

Specialising in vingegar-based cocktails, this subterranean hideaway is partnering with Buffalo Trace bourbon to well and truly bring Pickle Back. The drinks menu, ranging from a daring gherkin Pickle Back (originating in Brooklyn, and not for the feint hearted) to the longer fruit ‘Shrubs' (combining muddled fruit syrups with a splash of vinegar), is doing something that pickle lovers across London have been waiting for. But don't worry, if your mates are pickle-phobic, there is also a range of cocktails that steer-clear of vinegar - but not of the fun.
