The Natural Philosopher, Hackney

The Natural Philosopher is now open on Hackney Road in a Mac museum & repair shop.

James Manero & Amechi Ihenacho have collaborated with MacSmiths owner, Paul Davis, to create this elusive new drinking den. With a rather eclectic and curious décor The Natural Philosopher finds itself somewhere between Victorian eccentricity and the vintage collection of Apple/Mac products from the 70's onwards. There's seven signature cocktails to work your way through, including the Getafix (cognac, yellow charteuse and an array of herbs, plants and flowers) and the JP Sour (Bison Grass Vodka, Calvodos, lemon, sugar and egg white).
