Good Housekeeping have been been helping Britain in the kitchen since 1885, and over a century later they've FINALLY launched a cookery school.

Whether you consider yourself a chef to rival Heston, or are the type to burn porridge, there's something for everyone at the GHI Cookery School. The courses have been developed from Good Housekeeping's 'Triple-Tested' recipes, and will be led by a team of expert chefs and culinary whizzes teaching all the tips and tricks you need to perfect a recipe. 12732520 - food: It's summer and we're having a party! Speaking about the opening on November 13th, Good Housekeeping Editorial Director Lindsay Nicholson said, “The new GHI Cookery School offers everyone, for the first time, direct access to the GHI experts and our famous triple-tested recipes. We guarantee that all aspiring cooks who come through the door will learn something new and useful to make their lives easier and happier. Not to mention enjoying a fantastic day out.” The daily courses (either 3 or 5 hours long) will be held at GHI Headquarters in Soho, and all spoils can be eaten on the spot or taken home, along with a comprehensive recipe pack.  A series of themed demonstrations in the Demo Kitchen are also in the pipeline. 16521650 - Cakes & bakes V2 First up in the diary is plenty of seasonal festive fare, including: Festive Baking Learn to make a selection of seasonal bakes such as Spiced Fruit and Nut Cantucci, White Chocolate and Raspberry Meringue Roulade and Mincemeat Bakewell Tart.  Turkey and Trimmings Tackle that turkey with confidence this December with a Christmas workshop in cooking Turkey Breast with Sage Stuffing, Perfect Roast Potatoes, Sprouts with Chestnuts and Shallots, Classic Bread Sauce,  and Spiced Cranberry Sauce. 27082201 - food mince pies V2 Continental Christmas Go Euro this year with continental  Christmas fare, including Pimm's Salmon Gravadlax, Scandi Smorgasbord, Duck with Port and Figs, Snowy Yule Log.
