Fresh Meat: The Joint launches carnivorous dating event.

Marylebone's finest BBQ venue The Joint are maxing out their meaty credentials with a brand new dating event entitled MEAT AND GREET.

Tired of awkward blind dates and swiping left-left-left on Tinder? The Joint want to put the fun back into dating with their appropriately named Meat and Greet night, where like minded carnivores can tuck into American BBQ foods and boozy cocktails while getting to know each other in a laid-back setting. Based around the scientific evidence that meat increases sexual desire and enhances sexual function, as well as the well-known fact that most men are turned off by their date picking at a salad, this new event turns dating formality on its head with messy, sticky finger food that'll have you dropping all pretences in no time.    At The Joint's Meat and Greet night, no one expects you to eat daintily, and getting sauce down your outfit is almost guaranteed. The menu is stuffed full of messy Bbq classics such as short rib burgers, 16 hour slow cooked pork, shredded chicken and onion rings, washed down with a Thyme Collins, Figgy Ol' Fashioned or a few craft beers. Tickets for the event are priced at priced at £25 and included 2 cocktails per person as well as sharing sides and main each, while discounts are offered to those bring a single friend of the opposite sex.  You know what they say - there's no love stronger than the shared love of food.
