The recently-refurbished Canela brings a taste of Portugal to Covent Garden.
Previously known as Canela Cafe, this Portuguese restaurant has been extended into another room, adding space for 30 more covers and plenty of light from the beautiful double-aspect windows.
The Canela menu offers a selection of small 'Petisco' sharing plates, along with larger mains and desserts. Our favourites include the Alheria mini burgers with quails eggs, and the curiously named 'squid boat'. The exclusively Portuguese wine list is also worth a try - perfect for a summer evening post-work.
