Say Benvenuto to Bocconcino Pizzeria as it opens in Mayfair this winter offering a traditional menu of authentic wood-fired pizzas and freshly made pasta dishes.
The new restaurant will celebrate the culinary culture of Italy: top quality ingredients, first class service and great Italian wines! Bocconcino Pizzeria will open its doors at the beginning of December on Berkley Street in the heart of up-market Mayfair. The brainchild of restaurateur Mikhail Gokhner, Bocconcino Pizzeria was inspired by the vibrant flavours he experienced in Forte dei Marmi, a seaside town he fell in love with in Northern Tuscany.
The menu is full of classics: wood-fired pizzas include Marinara, indulgent Calzone Four Cheeses and Gorgonzola and Pear. There's homemade pasta too, such as Linguine with Cuttlefish and Squid Ink and also oven-baked meat and fish dishes.
The wine list is extensive, scaling Italy and taking in a mixture of well-known brands and small, artisan producers from Lombardia to Puglia. Meanwhile, the concise cocktail list celebrates Italian classics like the Bellini, Negroni and Aperol.
Londoners have an extra reason for some Italian indulgence as Bocconcino Pizzeria will offer diners 30% off food, available from 1st December until the end of January, with a voucher downloadable upon sign-up at
