5cc Electricity Showrooms, Shoreditch - New Opening

5cc, one of London's most exciting new cocktail bar groups, has opened its fourth spot at the Electricity Showrooms in super-trendy Hoxton Square. This latest addition to the growing string of bars is a tucked away oasis for those partial to a cocktail or two.

The new Electricity Showrooms bar remains true to 5cc's philosophy, serving up honest drinks with fresh produce and homemade ingredients.  Introducing a new breed of barrel cocktails, including Barrel'y Legal with rock candy cordial and rum – these unique cocktails are perfect for sharing with friends. There will be a cocktail menu exclusive to the 5cc Electricity Showrooms created by Head Bartender Daniel Andersson and Group Bar Manager Charles Montanaro. For Negroni fans, the Italian Gentleman which combines bourbon, rye, Campari and white vermouth finished with a touch of maraschino and served in an absinthe rinsed glass is a must-try. Guests can also enjoy a selection of nibbles including marinated goat's cheese with chilli, garlic and smoked beechwood mackerel pate. The decor is plush; high leather chairs, snug booths and long copper bar tops contrast with the distinctive neon-lit flooring and black sheen walls. Guest DJs will spin the decks at the weekends making the bar a great addition to the East London party scene. Located below Electricity Showrooms, 39a Hoxton Square N1 6NN, the new 5cc cocktail bar will open from 6pm to 12am Sunday to Thursday, and 6pm to 1am Fridays and Saturdays.
