Chinese Food Festival @ Potters Fields Park 19th - 21st of August

After last years huge success, The Chinese Food Festival returns to London once again providing foodies with a huge variety Chinese food and drink delights. Visitors can also expect exhibitions and events such as night markets with cocktails, DJ's and light shows as well as live demonstrations from professional Chinese chef's sharing their art. Entrance to the Chinese Food Festival is free and will be running from the 19th - 21st of August. The Croquetas Challenge @ The Ember Yard, 6th of September

The Ember Yard is playing host to the London's very first Croquetas challenge. Contestants include Salt Yard, José Pizarro, The Modern Pantry, Brindisa Kitchens, Oldroyd, Aqua Nueva, Duende and more. Hosted by chef-director of Salt Yard Group, Ben Tish, the competition will see each chef present their favourite croquetas recipe to the panel, with entries varying from traditional choices such as Croquetas de Jamón, to more wonderfully unusual creations such as Oxtail, Apricot and Peanut. Taking place at 6pm on Tuesday, 6th September with tickets costing £15 per person including a welcome drink and a taste of all croquetas. Small Plate Sessions @ The Common Slice, 20th of August

The 20th of August will see a unique daytime party which mixes small plates of creative food with disco and electro vibes, all of which resides in the newly launched, world's largest co-living building, The Collective Old Oak. For £10 guests will be able to enjoy entrance to the event, one small plate of food and a pint of Frontier lager or a glass of wine. Diner's can expect edible treats such as Sticky piggy ribs seasoned with bonfire salt, mango & crème fraiche; Smoked mackerel tortillas, teriyaki broccoli, soured cream; and Praline, crispy pastry, Crunchie dust & iced marjoram. Meatopia, 2-4 September

The Chambord Chapter 8 Games @ Dalston Roof Park 1st - 4th Septermber

The Chambord Chapter Eight Games pop-up event and flamingo croquet lawn is back this summer, and bigger than ever this year. Hosted on Dalston Roof Park, visitors will find all manner of strange curiosities like the return to their classic flamingo mallets and crazy croquet. Chambord will be serving delicious cocktails, including the Chambord Royale and the specially created Chapter Eight Cocktail, and hungry revellers can also tuck into a few tasty bites.
