Druid Street Market has joined forces with Dan Doherty's Chefs of Tomorrow for a series of pop-up chef spots every Saturday.
Providing some good old-fashioned community spirit in the run up to Christmas, the Bermondsey-based market will be hosting a line-up of talented up and coming chefs from some of the best known kitchens in the UK including Petersham Nurseries, 64 Degrees and L'Escargot.
Highlights from the five week series include Julian Pickersgill from Fitzrovia's Picture cooking Fish on Chip, Pickled Pink Fir Apple Potato, Burnt Cod, Mushy Peas; Alex Dome from Petersham Nurseries rustling up Madeira-braised Veal Shin with Bramata Polenta and Gremolata; John Chantarasak from Som Saa making “Joek” (Thai broken rice porridge); a whole roasted goat from Dan Gibeon of Brighton's Silo.
