Lanique

Forget flowers this Valentines Day and get your better half a bottle Lanique Rose Petal Liqueur!

Lanique is made with Attar of rose, a much prized ingredient that is created by steam distilling thousands of rose petals and is valued higher than gold! Lanique's history dates back over 200 years, where it was hugely popular amongst the elite societies of the Austrian Empire and the Kingdom of Prussia.  However, the Second World War and the rise of Communism saw the drink fall from popularity. After years of work by dedicated artisans the long lost recipe has been reborn and relaunched by entrepreneur Lawrence Huggler. The aroma is rich and floral, whilst the flavour is as delicate as the flower from where it comes, with touches of Turkish Delight about it. Lanique is delicious as a long drink with tonic or soda, as well as the signature serve of Lanique with a squeeze of fresh lime.  You can also try adding Lanique to a glass of Champagne or Prosecco for an added touch of decadence to your fizz!
