London's favourite boulangerie-cafe chain are finally revealing the secrets of their baking wizardry through a series of baking classes this autumn. Run by Head Pastry Chef Didier, the classes are 2 hours long and include a tartine platter, two organic beverages, and your own organic treats to eat in or take away. Currently on the schedule are:
October 15: Chocolate Tart & Organic Chocolate Brioche
It's all about decadence when it comes to the chocolate tart and chocolate brioche. Learn to make creamy ganache and fresh raspberry tarts, and a traditional brioche with a chocolaty twist.
November 5 : Organic Brioche & Quinoa Spelt Scone
The classic French buttery Brioche is balanced with a little less tradition, as you learn the secrets to making LPQ's signature Spelt & Quinoa Scone.
November 19: The Traditional Scone & Savarin Cake
Learn to make their most popular bakery item, the giant scone, perfectly paired with fresh cream and organic jams. Then onto a French classic, Savarin, a moist cake with rum, syrup and fresh cream. December 3 - Organic Brioche & Mince Pies
Hosting a party this holiday season? These recipes will come in handy. Brioche – the perfect base for any canapé (with a French twist) and mince pies, because it's just not Christmas without them.
December 10 – Holiday Scones & Savarin Cake
A seasonal twist on their original scone bursting with flavours of the holiday season, then onto a French classic, Savarin (Baba au Rhum), a moist cake with rum, syrup and fresh cream.
