Bombay Sapphire Distillery launches interactive cocktail masterclasses

Learn how to shake it like a polaroid picture in the comfort of your own home after a cocktail masterclass at Laverstoke Mill, home of Bombay Sapphire.

The Bombay Sapphire Distillery at Laverstoke Mill in Hampshire have recently announced plans to host a series of workshops and masterclasses for curious cocktail fans. Held at the award-winning architectural distillery, the interactive sessions include a series of helpful hints and tips and a delicious complimentary cocktail, naturally.  All the equipment used in the session can then be purchased in the Gin Shop onsite,  allowing gin lovers to easily recreate these cocktails at home. Those opting for the full Gin Workshop will take a trip through the history of Bombay Sapphire, exploring the craftsmanship that goes into every bottle. Resident Gin Experts will then discuss the intricacies of gin, giving you the chance to touch, smell and taste the ten exotic botanicals that are infused into Bombay Sapphire gin. Following this, each workshop will be given a step by step guide to creating the Ultimate Gin & Tonic at home. All workshops and masterclasses include ‘The Self-Discovery Experience', so you can explore the stunning distillery, which recently won the 2014 BREEAM Industrial Award, with an interactive map. Highlights include the Dakin Still Houses, Botanical Dry Room, and of course the Gin Shop (which also serves very good local cake, if you need to soak up all the gin).
