Having enjoyed a three-month stint in Broadway Market's F. Cooke's Pie and Eel Shop earlier this year, Peters & Co. Gin Palace returns to the 1930's East End institution with a permanent premises license, and this time, gin lovers, it's for good! Brainchild of gin aficionado Emma Peters, Peters & Co. Gin Palace is a charming modern day gin emporium offering a bespoke collection of over 40 of the finest gins. Marvel at the eclection of bottleware, ranging from the mighty Beefeaters Burroughs Reserve and Monkey 47 to the truly unexpected, including Aldi's Supermarket Oliver Cromwell London. A seductive selection of rascal cocktails includes the Joan Collins #1, a fruity number served tart. If Negroni is your tipple, the house signature Peters & Co. Negroni promises a hypnotic, smoother and spookier finish to a majestic classic, using homemade spiced Vermouth, barrel aged in the basement of F Cookes'. The venue also offers a suitably old-school East London inspired menu, serving a fishy fare of Oyster & Meat Pies, Whitebait and Wild English Silver Eels, smoked over Beech and Apple Wood, and served with Horseradish, Beetroot & Rye Bread The venue has also partnered with leading names from the gin world to host a regular rotation of gin masterclasses.
