125 Church Street, Stoke Newington - New Opening

Josie Price |

Marc Dalla-Riva and Matthew Rix, owners of The Blacksmith & The Toffeemaker pub in Clerkenwell, are the pair behind Stokey's latest hotspot.

The new bar, cafe and events space will offer Caravan coffee and Glazed & Confused doughnuts throughout the day. By night, swap fancy caffeine hits and tasty treats for craft beers, wines and premium spirits, which sit alongside a menu of US-inspired sandwiches, such as grilled cheese or Cuban. Following an extensive refurbishment of the site, the ground floor  of the building is a space now able to accommodate banquets and there's a charming sofa area overlooking a large terrace and 25 foot garden. Downstairs, there's an area for events, which includes its own bar and bookable seating cubby-holes. There will be a regularly changing roster of DJ's and other hosted nights, keeping things mixed up and exciting and the whole room can be taken over exclusively for private parties. Open daily, from midday until late. 125 Church Street - 125 Stoke Newington Church Street, London N16 0UH www.125churchst.co.uk @125churchst   125 church street
