    Ma Petite Jamaica, Camden

Every little thing's gonna be alright, now that London's first Caribbean diner, Ma Petite Jamaica, has opened in Camden Town.

Why.../ Stay warm in this colourful and cosy Reggae Bar and Jerk Pit. Chill out with some warming rum-based cocktails, and taste the tropics with some lip-smacking Caribbean cuisine. Serving Belly Full lunch specials, Jerk Pit meats, small plates to share and Rum-tastic cocktails. Where.../ 4 Inverness Street, Camden Town, a minute's walk from the tube station, close to the market and the canal. Don't walk past it, it's right near the High Street! Menu.../  Inspired by the jerk pit, try out the traditional Jamaican lamb patties, jerk chicken skewers and saltfish fritters. We loved the pumpkin and chickpea curry served with a roti, enough to share. For more substantial mains, the curried goat is amazingly tender, slow cooked for 24 hours served with crispy fried plantain. Jerk Red Snapper, deliciously meaty yet soft with a spicy barbecue sauce, just the thing to transport you to a white beach... Drinks.../ Rum cocktails. Try out Caribbean classics such as the Jamaican Mule, Cuba Libre and our favourite Mojito. Also try the Spanish Rumgria - a tropical fruit sangria made with 7 year old Havana, and the Bird of Paradise... for the totally tropical taste. Vibe.../ Cool, buzzing, friendly, colourful and ... chilled. Ma Petite Jamaica 4 Inverness Street Nearest tube Camden town
