Named after the latitudes within which most of the world’s vineyards are located, the 28-50 Wine Workshop & Kitchen provides an informal approach to fine-wine drinking and dining.
It’s all about accessibility with over thirty wines by the glass, carafe and bottle at accessible prices and a French bistro-style menu. Agnar has clearly created a popular concept as there are now three 28-50 restaurants across London.

The menu provides endless appeal with simple dishes yet perfectly executed dishes that you would happy dine every day. European Bistro classics such as Salmon Gravlax and Rabbit Tagliatelle sit alongside a couple of dude-food inspired plates including Buffalo chicken wings and Pulled pork burgers. Main course options include Seared scallops with black pudding; Pan fried Cod with Broad beans, morels and lemon potato; Grilled lobster; and Rib-eye steak. Desserts include Pistachio crème brȗlée with cocoa nibs and Tiramisu cheesecake.

The perfect balance of smart an informal, it’s 28-50 is just as adept as a relaxed wine bar or a quick lunch spot as it is as a restaurant to impress in the evening. Check out their seasonal wine dinners too for a more a more interactive dinner experience.
Varies, particularly as they have some great set-menus, but around £35 for food should do. Wine is incredible value, with £5 getting you a glass of something nice!
